Responsibilities

Qualifications
In addition to the qualifications below, you’ll need to submit a minimum of two reference letters for this position. - Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- Strength in coding with 1+ years of demonstrated experience in one object-oriented programming language (preferably Python or similar)
Interns are expected to be physically located in their manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the duration of their internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in understanding cybersecurity attacks and developing defenses.
- Knowledge and experience developing machine learning models.
- Experience with deep learning development frameworks (e.g., Pytorch).
- Demonstrated ability to develop original research agendas.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with other researchers and product development teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group, and cross-culture collaboration.
The salary for this role across the U.S. is between $6,400 and $11,000 per month.
