Are you excited to work at the bleeding edge of system design and data center design and analysis? The Strategic CAD Lab in Intel Labs is seeking stellar interns to join ongoing research and development activities. The ideal candidate would be currently pursuing graduate studies in areas associated with analytical performance modeling of network on chips and data center networks.
The internship will provide a unique opportunity for candidates to use analytical modeling for scale-out simulation apply this analysis to real-life large scale systems.
This is an internship position and compensation will be given accordingly
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- The candidate must be pursuing a Ph.D. degree in scale-out simulation and analytical performance modeling of network on chips and data center networks for a period of two years.
- 2+ years' experience in research and practical applications of queuing theory, machine learning, and performance modeling frameworks
- 2+ years' experience in software engineering skills in C++, C, python, Matlab and Linux.
- Hands-on knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms
- Knowledge and research experience with techniques for performance analysis of data centers

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
