The Data Intensive Science Centre (DISCUS) are creating a new team to develop our knowledge and technology transfer activities with industry and other external partners.

As part of the Centre and with support from the Research Assistant in Data Science, you will develop projects that apply data analysis in novel ways to real-world data from external partners to solve real-world problems.

You will facilitate innovation and knowledge exchange projects by

  • developing machine learning canvas sessions in collaboration with domain specific experts where needed
  • gathering requirements of potential external collaborators and contribute to the design of potential knowledge exchange projects
  • carrying out the multiple stages of a data science project lifecycle
  • disseminating results of research and best practice as appropriate.
