A Lot About You
We are looking for great talent: Ph.D. students in the areas of Machine Learning, Data Science, Algorithmic Game Theory, Control Theory, Computational Advertising and Optimization. If you are excited about the overall lifecycle of a product and research that goes into it, this is the place to be, because you will learn and gain hands-on experience while engaged in projects with significant impact on the success of Yahoo businesses. You are a great problem solver, the capability to work independently as well as with a team, and the willingness to learn from our leadership.
Your Day
- Deep dive into the data to understand and apply patterns, while maintaining a sense of the big picture.
- Work closely with colleagues on the engineering team to put research results into action.
- Push your own research agenda and look to influence our products and services with your expertise.
- Work with the team members on the projects and provide rigorous mathematical and algorithmic foundations for the methods used.
