Computer Vision Engineer, AI Lab

The Nanotronics Computer Vision Engineer in our AI Lab is a smart, creative and passionate engineer who will work with our team in the development of the world’s ultimate integrated manufacturing platform. This position will be responsible for building the most implemented supervision and training platform across multiple industries, such as hypercar manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing and personalized medicine.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years or compensating advanced degree (PhD or Masters)
- Background in computer science, robotics, mechatronics, statistics, mathematics, computer vision, physics
- Primary focus on object detection and computer vision
- Thorough understanding of real-time video processing, multi-view geometry, object tracking, and deep learning-based computer vision models, vision transformers
- Thorough software development experience in Python with experience working with CV and ML packages and frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, SciPy, etc.
- Ability to interpret real case visual info and train models
- Publication in top journals OR proven record of developing novel machine learning products
- Ability to work well with other R&D and software engineers collaboratively
- Must be a team player
- Strong statistics, probability, technical communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time without excessive oversight
- Research novel, state-of-the-art models for CV and develop inspired products and novel, cutting edge models
- Understand performance of and improve existing CV stack
- Work with engineers and scientists from other domains to collaboratively derive solutions for process control
- Work independently as an individual contributor for AIPC product stack
